It’s a love story full of twists and turns.
Among these young ladies described by Jane Austen, who are pursuing their love and marriage, I like Elizabeth's slightly paranoid character.
Her view of love is unique. she is arrogant, even prickly, and her Mr. Right is Darcy, who satisfies all the assumption of a good man.
In the beginning, the pride and prejudice inherent in their bones stop them, Darcy falls in love with Elizabeth, asks her to marry him, but because of the words of pride, angrily denied by Elizabeth.
Being prejudiced against Darcy, she said "I can also ask, why do you intend to offend me as clear as noonday and insult me? How could you say that loving me is against your will, against your reason, and even against your own character? "
After that, Darcy changes greatly, and he helped Elizabeth's family silently with financial support to the new couple, her sister and a bad guy. Occasionally she finds it, deeply touched.
When pride and prejudice dissolve, the two hearts begin to reflect on themselves, to recognize their own weakness and to transform each other, and to become better.
Actually I like the book, but sometimes not.
I learned that :"One can be proud but not vanity. Pride is much more than our valuation of ourselves, but vanity involves what we want others to think of us. But one can't be arrogant and unbiased. Your pride comes from overestimating yourself, and your prejudice comes from demeaning to others."
The true meaning of love is not to connect your pride with his or her pride or prejudice. What it really does is to eliminate them and make both better.
That's why I love this book. That's the love we are longing for. Persistent, deep, passionate and independent. The two have different views, common feelings, mutual understanding and mutual admiration. I am afraid that I am not qualified or lucky enough to get such happiness.
Not, for :
Many people will love tragedy, like me, such as Jin Yanxi chase but betray Leng Qingqiu, eventually come to a beautiful ending.
I always think such a story could be regarded as a classic, because it bears all our illusions about untimely love, the responsibility, the morality and the relentless helplessness and sentimentality.
But, It is such a book, where the writer happily arranges all people's property and their wife. I could not help but shock. Because I suddenly find that this is the real world where we are and the life most of us live.
Only a short years ago, compared with human history, our parents are all beautiful, brilliant, don't love fantasy. But now, they always discuss the fuel or house, their children and all other little nothings of life.
Where were their dreams and fantasies buried ?
Eventually, everyone hides their dreams, choose a conservative and safe way, a light horse, not want to remember too much , doubt others or search the meaning.
In the end, and totally
I have to say, the ending is still very happy. At last, Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy put down everything and came together. Also Jane and Bingley, get married. They are more optimistic. Charlotte married Collins house, full of joy etc.
The world is not good.
But it still deserves our struggle.
The best thing in the world is that the proud one comes to you from a distance, and asks you, with the most humble gesture, to love him. And the prejudiced one tells you in the heart: "How lucky I am to meet you!"
Love is too beautiful and sacred.
May we all have such good luck.
